Terms of Service

Last updated: March 29, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account and using PostPilot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of PostPilot.

2. Description of service

PostPilot is a social media scheduling tool that allows you to schedule posts to X (formerly Twitter) in advance. We provide a visual calendar interface, post editor, and automatic posting via the X API. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PostPilot. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Subscription and billing

PostPilot is billed monthly at $9.99/month. Your subscription begins when your payment is processed and renews automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months. All prices are in USD.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use PostPilot only to schedule content that complies with X's Terms of Service and community guidelines. You must not use PostPilot to schedule spam, harassment, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the PostPilot service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create and schedule through PostPilot. By using the service, you grant PostPilot a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (i.e. posting it to X at your scheduled time). We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.

7. X account connection

By connecting your X account, you authorize PostPilot to post to X on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that content you schedule complies with X's Terms of Service. PostPilot is not responsible for posts that fail to publish due to X API errors, rate limits, or account restrictions. You can disconnect your X account at any time.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. PostPilot depends on third-party services (X API, Stripe, Vercel, MongoDB) that may have their own outages. We are not liable for posts that fail to publish due to third-party service failures. We will notify users of planned maintenance when possible.

9. Limitation of liability

PostPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed posts, failed publications, or data loss. Our total liability to you in any month shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in that month.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 7 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania. If you are an EU consumer, you also have the right to seek resolution through your local courts.
